Before arriving at Erie 1 BOCES, Capuana worked as an English teacher for Buffalo Public Schools and the Depew Union Free School District.Ĭapuana received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of English Education, Master of Educational Administration and Doctorate of Educational Administration degrees from the University of Buffalo.Ĭapuana’s three-year contract provides a total annual salary of $205,000. Prior to that role, Capuana’s work at Erie 1 BOCES included time as a director for the organization’s Career and Technical Education division, and he also served as a building administrator at Northtowns Academy as well as Potter Career and Technical Center. His appointment, which will begin on August 1, was unanimously approved by Erie 1 BOCES’ seven-member board of education and the New York State Department of Education.
